TalentKnot was founded in Wolfsburg in 2024. We help companies recruit qualified skilled workers, assistants and apprentices from abroad – with a clear process, personal support and a satisfaction guarantee.

A knot that connects two sides
The name TalentKnot stands for what we do: we tie the knot between businesses that urgently need staff and people who want to work in Germany and build a future here.
Reliability, transparency and long-term partnerships are at the heart of what we do. We support both sides from the first needs analysis until arrival and work with language schools and educational institutions in 16 countries to make this happen.
Our mission
Why we exist
Germany is short of workers – in healthcare, logistics, the skilled trades and hospitality. For many businesses this means turning down orders, overloading teams and leaving apprenticeships unfilled.
At the same time, there are motivated people all over the world who have learned German and want to work here. TalentKnot brings both sides together – with quality, fair processes and the goal of turning every placement into a long-term partnership.
The founder
Tom Hennies, Founder and Managing Director
My name is Tom Hennies and I founded TalentKnot in 2024.
I have more than 14 years of international professional experience, over 13 of them at the Volkswagen Group – many years in procurement and in staff functions in group strategy and group sales. There I learned what matters when people from different cultures are to work together successfully – and why it fails when language, expectations and culture are underestimated.
With my business background, an MBA and IHK certification as a trainer (AEVO), I know what businesses expect from new employees and apprentices.
Why I founded TalentKnot
Working with people is my passion. It gives me great pleasure to open up career prospects in Germany for people while doing something about the shortage of skilled workers. That is what motivates me every day, and that is what led me to found TalentKnot.

What we stand for
Rigorous selection
Professional qualifications and certified German skills are a basic requirement. In structured interviews, we assess all candidates in advance and only propose the best to you.
Honesty
We also tell you when something takes longer or doesn’t fit. A realistic assessment matters more to us than a quick promise.
Reliability
Our three-month satisfaction guarantee applies to all placements. If it doesn’t work out, we find a replacement free of charge.
