If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR if special categories of data under Art. 9(1) GDPR are processed. The relevant legal bases in each individual case are explained in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.
Recipients of personal data
In the course of our business activities, we work with various external parties. In some cases, this also requires the transfer of personal data to these external parties. We only pass on personal data to external parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. passing on data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or if another legal basis permits the disclosure. Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged violation. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Information, correction and deletion
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time about this and any other questions on the subject of personal data.

SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. Enquiries by email, phone or fax
If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your enquiry including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you send to us via contact requests remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). You can also write to us via WhatsApp. The link on this website only opens WhatsApp after you click it; no data is transferred to WhatsApp beforehand. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, a company of the Meta group.
If you write to us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp processes your phone number, your profile and metadata of the communication. The content of messages is end-to-end encrypted. 5. Contact form and applications
Contact form
If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we process the details from the form (name, company, email address, optionally phone number, information on your staffing needs and your message) in order to process your enquiry and for follow-up questions. Your enquiry is forwarded to our email inbox; you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt by email. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To protect against automated spam enquiries, we use an invisible check field in the form. No data is transferred to third parties and no cookies are set.
Your details remain with us until you ask us to delete them, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.
Applications by email
Applicants can send us their documents by email to tom.hennies@talentknot.com. We process the data contained therein (e.g. contact details, CV, certificates, language certificates, driving licence and qualification certificates) in order to assess your suitability and to place you with suitable employers in Germany. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation and performance of the placement).
We only pass on your documents to potential employers with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Insofar as your documents contain special categories of personal data that you provide to us voluntarily, we process them on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.
If no placement is made, we delete your documents no later than six months after the end of the application process, unless you have consented to longer storage (e.g. to be considered for future vacancies). Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected. Our placement service is free of charge for applicants.
6. Appointment booking and video calls
Calendly
We use Calendly to book appointments. The provider is Calendly LLC, 115 E Main St., Ste A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA (“Calendly”).
The booking calendar is only loaded when you click “Load calendar” and thereby give your consent. Only then is a connection established to Calendly’s servers; among other things, your IP address and technical data of your device are transferred to Calendly. When you book an appointment, Calendly processes the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, phone number, company, answers to the booking questions and date and time of the appointment) and forwards it to us. The appointment is entered in our calendar (Microsoft 365).
Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG); consent can be revoked at any time. We also process the booking data to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). It remains with us until the purpose no longer applies and is then deleted, unless statutory retention periods prevent this.
The transfer of data to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), under which Calendly is certified. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Calendly. For further information, please refer to Calendly’s privacy policy: https://calendly.com/privacy.
Microsoft Teams
We use Microsoft Teams for video calls. The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. When you take part in a Teams call, Microsoft processes in particular your name, email address, IP address, device and connection data as well as image and sound data during the call. We do not record calls.
Processing is carried out to perform pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in effective communication (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Microsoft. Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Microsoft is certified.
